How a seed converts soil and moisture into a tree

It beats imagination to think that a tree is sand and water, upwards and onwards

A thought came to me about how magical seeds are, especially how trees grow out from within them.

As it starts from beneath, then above the ground for air, never resting until a mammal decides that it should.
Infinitely spurning, new leaves as its sheath barks out, dry and textured showing its age. Every leaf is similar to a page, read by the wind, coloured by the sun. Each branch turns, winding upwards and sideways or windward.
You can realise this with every tree. It's no wonder they pull clouds of rain, they are innovative in that way.
